History of Montessori Center School

• 1965 MCS started on APS campus by the Waterfall Family
• 1971 MCS became a non-profit educational institution 1973
• First after school child care program added 1977
• MCS moved to La Colina Campus 1979 - First Toddler program added 1983
• First MCS Auction Benefit 1988 - Addition of a music studio 1990's
• Introduction of Upper Elementary and French Language Programs 1997
• MCS moved to Goleta Location (current location)
