Group

  • Carry chair quietly to the group area or sit on the rug
  • Sit quietly without talking or touching your neighbor
  • Bring only things to group you are asked to. Put everything else away
  • If you wish to speak, raise your hand and wait until the group leader calls on you
  • Use the bathroom only if it is an emergency
  • You may get a tissue during group
  • No eating or drinking
  • Listen, ask questions and participate

Work

  • Decide what work you need to do
  • Get all the materials you will need
  • Work at your desk, at the tables or on a rug
  • Ask another student or teacher for help when you need it
  • Concentrate on your work and do not disturb others
  • Walk slowly and talk softly
  • Check your own work if possible
  • Correct your errors before putting your work away
  • Sit in the chairs in the classrooms not on desk or counter tops

Bathroom

  • Flush the toilet, wash your hands, throw paper towels in the wastebasket
  • Be considerate of others by using the bathroom quickly

Playground

  • Stay in the boundaries
  • Be kind to others in actions and words
  • Be a good sport by congratulating the winners and not teasing the losers
  • Be aware of younger and smaller children
  • Make sure to return and equipment to its rightful place
  • Games in progress may be joined in pairs until the game limit is reached

Lunch

  • Take your lunch, carefully find your placemat and carry them to a table
  • Put your food on your placemat and your backpack on the asphalt under your seat
  • Use proper table manners
  • Clean up your space
  • Put away your placemat neatly
  • Sit on benches and chairs, not on table tops

Multi-Class Gatherings

  • Line up quietly at the hall without talking to or touching others
  • Walk quietly
  • Sit in a straight line, leaving space between you and your neighbor
  • Follow the class group rules
  • Yelling or booing is impolite but clapping is encouraged
  • Stay seated until the activity is over and the teacher dismisses you

Field Trips

  • You will be assigned a car to ride in
  • Walk with your driver to the car
  • Fasten your seat belt
  • Do not disturb the driver
  • Stay with the group at all times
  • Be courteous to everyone you meet
  • Make sure to say "Thank You"

Personal Responsibility

  • Take off caps or hats when inside
  • Hang backpacks and clothes on your hook or put them in your locker
  • Clear off your desktop when leaving a classroom for break, lunch or dismissal
  • Keep the floor around and under your desk clean
  • Keep your desktop clean
  • Tuck in your chair at your desk or tables when getting up.
