Caitlyn Tufts is the MCS Spanish teacher and also part of the elementary afterschool care team. She has a B.A. in education with a minor in Spanish from Humboldt State University. She has a Master of Education with an emphasis in teaching from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also holds a community literacy certification from the Summer Institute of Linguistics at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
June Taggs first came to MCS in 2001. She has been a lead teacher in preschools in Hawaii, Puerto Rico and California. With more than twenty years of experience working with young children, June has over 24 units of early childhood education and has completed Reggio Emilia training seminars. She is currently the extended day teacher in Gold Door.
