The Fund for MCS is our Annual Giving Campaign which raises unrestricted funds that will ensure we are able to meet annual operating expenses. MCS relies on gifts of all sizes to bridge the gap between what tuition covers, and the cost to run the quality Montessori program that we successfully strive to provide for our students. The current “gap” between tuition and the actual cost of an MCS education is $2,500 per student. Your contribution makes certain that our outstanding education programs, and careful investments in our faculty and facilities, continue to strengthen for years to come.
Yes! Consistent giving is important to the annual financial stability of your children’s school. MCS relies on gifts from generous donors like you to offer exceptional enrichment classes, enhance the outdoor environment, purchase essential classroom materials, and contribute to financial aid that increases school diversity.
Give a little or give a lot – whatever is most comfortable to your family. The dollar amount is not as important as reaching 100% parent, board and faculty/staff participation. Every tax-deductible gift makes a difference to the school. Participation in the Fund for MCS sends a powerful message that you believe in the school’s educational program and our outstanding faculty and staff. Your donation is an investment in your child’s education.
The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has brought the need to find new ways to work and to protect our faculty, students, staff and ourselves. MCS is taking necessary actions to ensure the school is safe for our students, faculty and staff. This involves investments in our facilities, operations, technology and instruction.
This year, your tax-deductible donations to our Annual Fund will allow MCS to continue to adapt to urgent and emerging needs as they evolve, as well as maintain our commitment to academic excellence.
Your tax-deductible donation will help us with the following expenses:
$15,000 will fund air purification systems in all of our classrooms
$5000 will fund converting a specialist room in to a classroom
$1500-will fund shade sails for one classroom
$1000 will fund for a year’s worth of Personal Protective Equipment for 1/3 of our faculty and staff
$500- will fund for sneeze guards for 1/3 of the classrooms
$250 will fund student materials for additional classroom spaces
$100- will fund a new student desk needed to comply with social distancing
$50 will fund a tripod for recording Zoom meetings
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Every dollar is a building block for a better school and an investment in our children’s future.
