Fundraising at MCS
Montessori Center School is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. As we progress through the school year, we hope everyone contributes as they are able so that we may achieve our goal of 100% community participation. Your donations to the school are considered tax-deductible gifts.
What is The Fund for MCS?
The Fund for MCS is our Annual Giving Campaign which raises unrestricted funds to ensure we can meet annual operating expenses. MCS relies on gifts of all sizes to bridge the gap between what tuition covers, and the actual cost to run an authentic, high-fidelity Montessori program for our students. The current “gap” amount between tuition revenue and the actual cost of operating MCS is $1,100 per student. Your support will allow MCS to continue to provide a nurturing and rich academic experience for our children.

Gifts of Stocks
Gifts of securities to MCS benefits the school and you! If you have held a stock for more than one year, you may take a charitable tax deduction for the marketing value of the stock and avoid capital gains taxes when it is sold.
