Montessori Center School will be hosting a career fair on Saturday, June 25th from 9 am to 12 pm at its Goleta campus, located at 401. N Fairview Avenue. Growing interest in Montessori has created employment opportunities for educators and those who may be interested in a meaningful career change. Currently, MCS has openings for assistant teachers, a computer specialist and a director of admissions.
For over 55 years, Montessori Center School has served children from 18 months through 12 years old in mixed-age toddler, early childhood and elementary classrooms. Montessori Center School’s career fair will introduce Montessori principles to individuals who want to learn more about the education method based on the scientific work of Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian scientist and physician.
The Montessori Method has been revolutionizing education for over 100 years. Scientific research demonstrates the effectiveness of Montessori's holistic approach in achieving strong student outcomes academically and social-emotionally. There are more than 5,000 Montessori schools in the United States and more than 20,000 in 110 countries worldwide. Montessori Center School is affiliated with American Montessori Society, the leading advocate and resource for high quality Montessori education in the United States.
