Camp MCS
Fun and learning continue during our winter, spring and summer break camps! We offer week-long registration for children in our Toddler, Primary and Elementary programs to make life simpler for working parents.

Camp MCS is led and staffed by Montessori Center School’s own teaching team, offering a familiar, nurturing, and well-structured environment for each child. While our camp sessions differ from the academic-year program and are not centered on the Montessori curriculum, they still reflect the warmth, consistency, and thoughtful care that define our school community. Each week features a unique, teacher-designed theme that invites children to learn, play, and explore across our beautiful garden campus—sparking curiosity, creativity, and joyful summertime growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our Toddler summer program is available only to current Montessori Center School students. If space permits, we may also offer enrollment to families who are enrolled to begin in the fall. Because toddlers thrive on consistency, and our program is designed to support children already familiar with our routines and environment, we are not able to offer toddler summer enrollment to outside families.
Yes. Children must be potty-trained to attend Primary summer camps. While we understand that accidents may happen, staff are not able to support children who are still in diapers or pull-ups.
Yes. Campers who still nap will be brought to a nap room from 12:15 p.m. until the end of camp. Families may pick up their child directly from the nap room instead of the camp classroom.
Children entering first grade in the fall should enroll in our Elementary Camp. While we understand families may prefer their child to remain in Primary over the summer, our camps are designed to align with students’ upcoming school-year placement. Elementary Camp provides age-appropriate activities, independence, and experiences that best support this transition.
Please note: Students who will be entering Kindergarten in our Spanish Immersion program in the fall should also enroll in Elementary Camp. All other incoming Kindergarten students should enroll in Primary Camp.
Each day, campers should bring a lunch, water bottle, and sun protection, including sunscreen and a sun hat. Please be sure to label all items with your child’s name. If additional items are needed for a specific week (such as a swimsuit or towel), Camp MCS will send a reminder email with details.
